Along with the heating up of relations between Russia and NATO, the Russian Ministry of Defense has sent space forces to help control land and air forces, this is done in an effort to strengthen air, land and sea defense systems. The Russian Aerospace Forces have successfully launched the Angara-1.2 launch vehicle from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome. Vehicle launches and spacecraft launches into calculated orbits take place in normal mode.
