Israeli occupation forces have attacked worshipers for the Fajr prayer at the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday at Fajr time in East Jerusalem (which is under Israeli control). They attacked worshipers with grenades and tear gas under the pretext of chasing demonstrators who had thrown stones at the Jewish prayer hall on the west wall. The Imam of the Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, said the attack on the holy mosque was aimed at paving the way for the Jewish settlers.
